Review of A Cure for Wellness (2017) by Craig P — 16 Nov 2017

Having just suffered through this film, I'm stunned anyone found it redeeming. Visually, it was beautiful (though fairly derivative in its imagery). But in addition to being endless, the plot is comically absurd--even for a supernatural fantasy.

It's as though Verbinski made a list of cool and creepy images, then randomly employed them without any explanation or hint of coherence. It seemed so promising when it started and turned into. literally, one of the dumbest movies I've seen in fifty years.
