A modern reworking of the Dracula story. An evil baron living in large castle on the mountain top which has already been burnt down by the villagers once, a young virgin and an innocent stranger who arrives on a routine mission and the finds it impossible to leave.
It is overlong and quite slow paced but it is visually stunning and the kind of film that stays with you. Several quite disturbing scenes.
