The filmmaker came across as unpleasantly disingenuous, someone who didn't really care what anyone had to say, except as material to slot into his unimaginative, unfunny framework. Relied on his long-term girlfriend's appearance to lend the whole thing any emotional weight, consent for which I don't think he had earned after making such a witless, phoney film.
The Weegies in the street were funny though.
