Pretentious self-indulgent and nonsensical. The BBC drama queens at their worst. Very jolly school, with humour to match. There's more to 'film about making film' than merely showing the extras; to assume foreknowledge of the script as if marking a thesis is pretentious; to omit half the text and key character relationship in favour of creating a star vehicle is bewildering.
