Review of A Cock and Bull Story (2005) by Jonathan B — 10 Aug 2014

Very funny and original movie that a lot of people will either love or completely not get. Coogan and the rest of the cast did a great job of creating just the right dry, slightly absurd humor between them, and I cannot praise the writers or director enough for their vision here.

This movie is hard to describe, but it is part David Guest mockumentry, part Oscar Wild, with a little Monty Python thrown in. This film purposely has a very hectic feel to it, and you have to pay attention to get a lot of the jokes.

I wish the put a little more from the book in here, but overall I doubt this film could have been done much better.
