Review of A Clockwork Orange (1971) by Leo B — 15 Dec 2012
Unmissable classic from Kubrick. The star Malcolm McDowell, Alex, is truly vulgar, yet the viewer does find a profound attachment to him as the story progresses. The film delivers a collage of shocking and iconic scenes, when accompanied by Beethovens 9th and Rossinis Thieving Magpie along with other classics, creates a true timeless masterpiece, which will leave the viewer shocked yet fully satisfied.
