Strictly speaking, this film falls nothing short of a favorite and a classic. The TV exposure may make seeing the film a bore, but once you allow the film back in every December it really is hilarious and weird in all the right ways.
It's a kid wanting a hotshot present for Christmas from his deranged dysfunctional parents to try to be the best of the best amongst his friends and peers, what could be better? This also gets extra credit for inspiring families all over the globe to eat Chinese every Christmas.
