Review of A Christmas Story (1983) by Greg R — 15 Dec 2015

I'm actually one of the guys who did not see this movie until I was older. It wasn't until I was 17 when I finally saw A Christmas Story. I guess I just thought it was a little too unpleasantly cynical or mean-spirited, and I didn't want to see that in a Christmas film.

However, when I finally saw it, it might have a bit of a cynical side, but really it's a very nostalgic, heartfelt and funny little film. I don't think its the greatest Christmas movie ever made, but it is something I'd be open to watching it every year.
