This is THE version to see. In my opinion (& my dissertation was on Charles Dickens), this is even superior to the original short story. I even turned it into a stageplay so my school children could perform it on stage - and they made me cry in death of Tiny Tim scene too! This film made me a happy man, a truly happy man.
