Review of A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) by Waldo I — 29 Jul 2009
Peanuts is one of those things that's both sophisticated and somehow has mass appeal.
Charlie Brown is a depressive six-year-old who grapples with existensial questions. He's such a failure, his own dog doesn't even want to be friends with him. It's not laugh-out-loud funny, but it's smart. And if you're not into that, OMG SNOOPY IS WEARING SUNGLASSES LOL.
