Review of A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) by Luke B — 07 Dec 2010
A holiday classic. You may be surprised to find that this short cartoon is one of the most mature and accurate depictions of Christmas. The humor is also well advanced of its presentation. Charlie Brown does some soul searching to discover why he isn't excited by Christmas.
Is it the commercialism of it all. For something that is 45 years old, this still has messages relevant today. It's ahead of its time and will certainly appeal to all ages.
