Review of A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) by Miss.linkin-Park M — 22 Jul 2008
Timeless classic. This is an animated Christmas classic that should have failed. It has a jazz music score, children for character voices instead of real actors, and a climax that has one of the characters quoting the Bible.
Add all that up and you have a timeless classic that is still relevant and illuminating. "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and goodwill to men." That's what Christmas means, Charlie Brown.
Indeed.
