Review of A Bridge Too Far (1977) by Duane M — 23 Aug 2007
For its time it did a very good job of accurately portraying the book of the same name. Considering the lack of CGI back in the 70s they had to recreate the combat footage with a cast of thousands. The results are breathtakingly realistic, especially the Airborne drops.
One of the best war movies ever made in my opinion.
