Review of A Bridge Too Far (1977) by John-Paul C — 26 Oct 2007
Spiffing retelling of Cornelius Ryans book. Reasonably accurate and spectacular, but slightly spoilt by Michael Cains completely wooden acting, British toff officers asking for biscuits, The polish bloke whining all the way through, and the yanks being too superior and cross.
Then, after paying for the all star cast they balls it up by neglecting to sign the true stars of the show...Tigers and Panther tanks, one bloody Leopard trundling about. And who gives a shit about shitty Shermans? Shocking.
