Not my favorite war movie, but it rates right up there. Lots of great actors in this movie. Richard Attenborough did a fine job maintaining a dark feeling during the movie. Although a bit long, the length was necessary to depict a more complete storyline.
James Caan's scene with the doctor was the best.
