Considering how women were depicted in this film, I found myself unable to really enjoy it. In a land where the vast desert above-ground is overrun with filthy, hoboish men that scrounge for canned food and a woman to rape wasn't exactly the kind of futuristic world that I could get excited about.
Not to mention that the "bizarre" underground city was not only not that bizarre, but it was also anti-climactic and lame. But I did like that the dog really wanted popcorn - and got some, too.
