Review of A Boy and His Dog (1975) by Jani M — 24 Apr 2010
They sure don't make movies like this anymore ... thank god. Okay, it has potential for very nice remake. Picture a guy who communicates with his sarcastic dog telephaticly in a ruins of the world after nuclearwar.
Sort of I am Legend meets Mad Max. But back to this movie. It's about young Don Johnson's character who does communicate with his dog telephatically but most that he does is look for women to rape .
.. and in the movie it is presented as sensible thing to do. In priority it goes even over water and food. Settings are pretty nice and world in itself is pretty believable. That is until they enter underworld dystopian society.
Movie isn't very entertaining but the very ending leaves warm feelings ... bros before hos!
