Review of A Bigger Splash (2015) by Scott H — 28 May 2016
Only worth watching because of its performances, but had non-established actors been inserted the script would not be good enough to make it relevant as it overall doesn't offer a whole lot in terms of actual plot or a sense of humor that makes sense for what's happening on screen.
Most of its appeal comes from the fact that Swinton's character can't talk, but other than watching it to see the acting decisions, it offers nothing new that other movies about cheating and individuals secluded in remote locations haven't done before and done better.
