Review of A Better Tomorrow II (1987) by Christopher A — 30 Nov 2010
Just like Sam Raimi did in the Evil Dead movies. John Woo took his first film and essentially refilmed it again, but with more ideas and tons more originality. As a matter of fact, this movie has been copied so many times, you're wondering why this is copying such and such a film when, of course, in fact it's the original.
(Quentin Tarantino's Resevoir Dogs and Kill Bill being the main culprits). Chow Tun Fat is back with Tony Leung, and all of them are great. One of the definitive action movies of our time.
