Let there be no mistake: the director is great, and so are the actors (the leads, at least) - but this is the most ridiculous script I've seen in many years. the american scenes are particularly ludicrous.

hollywood, you've sunk even deeper than I thought possible (really, people, how can you so absurdly underestimate an audience?); Woo was better off in Hong Kong.
