The action movie that turned director John Woo and actor Chow Yun-Fat into household names, while not quite as polished as their later collaborations, is still a fantastic story with engaging characters and mesmerising performances.
Ti Lung and the late Leslie Cheung are also very good in their roles. Oh, and don't forget those wonderful ballistic action sequences (with judicious use of slow-motion) that would become Woo's trademark!
