Great neo-realism movie about a man trying hard to provide for hisself and his son in low income area of L.A. while his son drifts closer to the gang scene there. This is one of those sleepers you only really hear about if it's up for awards.
It's a great, touching story and a well made film with a fantastic ending. You feel watching the movie that this is probably right on the mark, or close to it at least, to a great many lives and stories happening in L.
