Carlos is an illegal immigrant trying to raise a son in LA. He is a decent man with traditional values and just wants to make sure his son has a better life than he. Carlos takes a gamble and buys a truck to grow his business as a gardener.
The story becomes predictable after that but this movie is well worth watching. Demian Bechir plays Carlos is a restrained but very strong performance. Recommended.
