A wonderful story with colorful characters, this is a cinematic masterpiece. Supported by stellar performances by Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, and Paul Bettany, this movie tells the story of John Forbes Nash Jr.

, who is schizophrenic. By the end of the story we start to sympathize with the characters, mostly because we've come to associate ourselves with each of the individuals, finding a bit of ourselves in each one.

Director Ron Howard is careful not make the movie over sentimental. But that doesn't stop the tears from pouring out by the end of the movie. The movie pulls at the audience's heart just enough at the right moments.

There's one scene in the movie when Alicia says "I need to believe something extraordinary is possible." She says when she decides on giving John a chance at trying to live a normal life again and not sending him back to the mental facility.

And that sums up all that this movie is about. Making extraordinary an ordinary thing applicable to all people. Wonderful screenplay, great directing, dynamite performances, stellar original score, and solid cinematography.

This is one helluva movie.
