Review of A Beautiful Mind (2001) by Sumit S — 13 Jan 2013
Bolstered by a strong emotional performance by Russell Crowe & nicely supported by its supporting cast especially Jennifer Connelly, impressive storytelling by Ron Howard & a taut screenplay by Goldsman, A Beautiful Mind is a brilliantly cast & superbly filmed biopic about the schizophrenic mathematician John Nash which takes its viewers to a gripping 2 hour journey that entertains as well as moves with its bold take of mental illness.
Arguably the best film of its year & certainly one of the best films in the career of Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly & Ron Howard.
