Review of $9.99 (2009) by Fran B — 11 Jul 2010

I really wanted to like this movie, but end the end I was a bit disappointed. The claymation is top notch and the voice actors do their job well. It's the story that really drags it down. Its almost as if the creative people didn't know how creative they should get, leading to scenes that were meant to be sincere come off as absurd instead.

With some more editing and a clearer goal in mind, this could have been a great film.
