99 Homes is a heartbreaking and gripping film that hooks you from the start and never lets go, and this is possibly one of the best films of the entire year.

99 Homes is a story about the realities of real estate, and this film shows us not only the tragedies that families have to go through during foreclosures, but also gives us an inner battle of moralities and righteousness.

To start out, the acting in this movie was absolutely Oscar worthy. Andrew Garfield shows us again why he's such an amazing actor, and he gave an inspiring performance. He's honestly one of my favorite actors in Hollywood today, and he puts on a genuinely real performance. His emotion and his charisma made him perfect for this role, and he made everything feel so real. Michael Shannon also was an amazing supporting character, and his performance here will definitely be remembered. He is such a stern and unforgiving man, and he represents everything we hate about this world. He lacks sympathy and a kind heart, and Michael Shannon really brought this character to life.

This movie will really hit home for a lot of people, and it addressed a topic that we don't really see in Cinemas these days. I never knew the harsh reality of the housing market and what the impact of losing a home is for a family, and this movie was heartbreaking in many ways. They brought to life a situation that not many people pay attention to, and it really was emotionally draining to watch all of these situations play out. As we see many people being ripped away from their homes, you really feel attached to the situation and you can't help but feel sad for those who have really lost their homes in real life.

Without a doubt, the character development was phenomenal in this movie. As you see in the trailer, Dennis Nash was one of the many victims who had to surrender their home to the bank, and his transition from victim to destroyer was a sight to see. In the movie, he became exactly what he despised, and he did anything it took to keep his family happy. I really loved how he became the exact thing he hated, and although he wasn't proud of it, he did it regardless in order to get paid. It really was a battle of morals, and it made for an evolutionary path of his character that we were glad to witness.

The movie's screenplay was also genius, and everything honestly felt so real. The pacing was absolutely perfect, and nothing ever felt too rushed or too slow. I was constantly interested in the situation at hand, and without I doubt, I loved this movie.

In the end, this movie brought upon an abundance of emotions and a powerful story that was complimented by an amazing cast and a perfect structure. Everything here was perfect, and I couldn't have asked for a better movie. The deeper messages and conflicts were heartbreaking, and I will gladly recommend this movie to anyone.
