Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Louis H — 24 Mar 2009
Not the most thrilling serial killer movie I have ever seen. This film seemed more like an episode of 24 with the semi real time drama throughout. Al Pacino plays his usual promiscuous loud self that he seems to play in all his movies these days.
I really haven't seen a good serial killer movie since the first saw movie, where I felt terrified for the characters and sick to my stomach that someone might do such horrible things to another human being.
This film definitely did not provoke any of those feelings. Overall it would be worth a cheap rent but not one of those expensive rental chain prices.
