Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Kenny O — 21 Mar 2009
Al Pacino is too old for these types of fast witty roles. this is a sad spin off a modern suspense thriller like Eagle Eye or Phone Booth.the acting was horrible and the twists were too mild and quite predictable.
there seemed to be no reason why he couldn't just call the cops. some scenes like the confrontation between Pacino and the Sheriff was a waste of time. Overall this film is mildly intriguing yet pretty low class when it comes to suspense crime thrillers.
a disappointment from Pacino.
