Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Hank O — 28 Mar 2009
This film is not very good at all and I actually like movies with a who-done-it. I did think it was pretty obvious early on who was going to be the killer though. Pacino is really slipping after this and Righteous Kill, he needs a hit soon or he needs to retire.
All of the other actors turned in bad performances as well, I am actually surprised so many half way decent actors were in this, maybe they just saw Pacino was in and thought it would be good like many people who watched it thought.
This is just your typical thriller with a bunch of typical cliches and bad performances. All this being said, it did keep me engaged and slightly amused and that counts for something, but only watch this if you are desperate or bored.
