Ozon puts on a filmic show with voltaire style comedy and melodrama with the best music of any musical this century (jazzy and seductive while poppy and exhilarating). I had a lot of fun with this flick, the only thing I felt was missing was an appearance by Anna Karina as the ninth woman.
