Review of 8: The Mormon Proposition (2010) by Mark D — 08 Mar 2011
I think this is a good expose of the inner workings of LDS or the mormon church. Every day these people are at work organizing trying to find ways to get into politics and promote their hate. I don't know why they act like this, maybe they are still perturbed about not being able to live in polygamy legally. They have a strong belief system, but integrity seems to be dysmally absent. LDS, a religion worth 10s of billions of dollars, used underhanded tactics and deceit to get others to vote for prop. 8.
In CA, 2% mormon population, but 71% of contributions for prop. 8 came from mormons.
This comes as no surprise to me as I learned quite a few years ago that the Mormon goal is for devout members of their organization to gain key political positions, thereby giving the LDS political ground.
An important statement from the movie:
"(A) member of the mormon quorum of apostles made a statement several years ago to the youth of the church that it would be better to be dead than be a homosexual. Utah has the highest rate of suicide, majority being mormon youth....".
Now you know the source people.
