Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Compi24 — 23 Sep 2015
Underdog stories don't get much more original than this spectacularly conceived, well-performed drama from Eminem and director Curtis Hanson. Similar to Hanson's "L.A. Confidential," "8 Mile" is a complicated love letter to the city it takes place in (Detroit) and a fantastic tale of the strife that may take place there.
