Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Tristan M — 27 May 2013
Really enjoyed this one. As I myself am a huge Eminem fan. It had a bit of charm to it from the controversial rap star that has graced our culture. His sick rhymes leave almost everyone stunned, but we get a glimpse into the rappers life.
Parts of the movie are actually related to his life, and a few twists and turns are thrown in the mix. Sure the story is a tad cliche, but hey its Eminem being Eminem. We get a peak at the window that is his life and see things through a different perspective.
This movie definitely has a lot more to it than meets the eye. A fairly decent movie, I do not actually recommend this movie to everyone as it is not for everyone. You really have to be along the lines of the right mindset for this one, but all and all it does have enough material for a thrilling ride.
