Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Matt R — 02 May 2014
Usually when music artists transition to big screen, it's just a ploy to attract viewers or a cameo done just for the hell of it. But with this movie I thought Mathers was a genuinely good actor, as is the supporting cast, and the story is compelling enough to prove itself to not be just another marketing stunt.
8 Mile is one of my all time favorite movies, and I feel that it can speak for itself in back up that claim.
