Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Glomman — 18 Sep 2020
I'm not a very big fan of rap, yes, not even Eminem, so watching this movie may not have been the best decision for me, but regardless, it's pretty good. While it paints a thorough picture of Marshall's living conditions and life in general in Detroit, it also lets you take a glimpse into his mindset, which is very determined, but also caring for his belongings and family.
Also the last 20 minutes make any prior moment of boredom worth it.
