The most authentic movie we've seen in a very long time. Hollywood usually overkills a true story with glorified action and events that never happened. This felt as true as an objective documentary with a style that kept us entranced in the emotion of the characters. Very rare!
We appreciated the inclusion of Eric's back story that led him to the mountain. This is not just a generic survival story. It is a grounded exploration of character that puts the audience in Eric's shoes in a very honest, and therefore relatable, way.
