Review of 5ive Girls (2007) by Patrick C — 20 Dec 2008
This is quite an average plot for a horror movie aimed at teenagers. Somewhat predictable, few (if any) real shocks and absolutely no surprises.
That said, the cinematography is very good and there is a nice addition of a very capable blind girl as one of the heroines.
It's nice to see Ron Pearlman still working after his success as The Beast in the TV cop show "Beauty And The Beast," but frankly, this is just another Hollywood bimbo movie with many close-ups of girls' bottom cheeks and a token lesbian thrown in for good measure. I get the distinct feeling that the only audiences this is likely to attract are hormonal teenage boys!
