Review of 54 (1998) by Jessica H — 15 Oct 2007
I was too young to see this when it came out, but I remember wanting to see it. I finally rented it recently and I thought it was an accurate example of what life was like in Studio 54, as far as I can tell.
It captures the infamous sexual openess and what drugs, money, and the desire for fame can really do to a person. I only give it three stars because the acting could have been a little better as far as Phillipe, Hayek, Campbell and Breckin Meyer go, but Mike Myers did a superb job!
