Backed by two extremely likable characters, 500 Days of Summer surges past the lame cliches and sappiness of so many other romance movies and delivers a surprisingly sweet dose of reality. Very good pacing and just the right amount of funny delivers a hybrid of romance and comedy that is very rarely found.
