Hmm. Seems i'm the one that didn't really care much for this. I liked that it was different, that it wasn't formulaic and that he didn't get THE girl at the end, (well...another one) but I also didn't really like him in the first place all that much.
I don't know what it is about this that I don't like. I think though it really is more realistic than most romantic type movies, and that works in its favour. It is sad, it doesn't make much sense, maybe that's how love is? I wouldn't have a freaking idea.
500 Days of Summer goes along quite nicely but I don't think i'd ever watch it again, i'm not sure if I liked it or didn't like it but it definitely beats the hell out of every other romantic movie i've seen.
