A comedy centered around a person diagnosed with cancer in his 20s, without hurting the sentiments of anyone who is undergoing through the same or has been through it, 50/50 is the story of the writer of this film who penned down his own life story and struggle and coping up with the disease in the character named Adam, played really well by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Seth Rogen plays Kyle, who is Adam's best friend & colleague, and who upon finding out about his friend's condition tries everything to avoid him from an emotional breakdown by being there for him.
Also he makes sure that this movie never loses out on its humor. Nicely scripted, hugely improvised & emotionally investing... 50/50 is worth your time & money.
