Review of 50/50 (2011) by Alison O — 14 Dec 2012
A wonderful surprise; I can't believe I hadn't heard of this movie before now. The dramatic and comedic elements were extremely well balanced, one moment you were laughing and the next you were on the verge of tears.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was incredible and I really appreciate him as an actor now. Seth Rogen was hilarious (a huge compliment seeing as I'm typically not a huge fan of his) and Anna Kendrick was extremely likeable in her role.
It's been a while since I've enjoyed a movie this much.
