Although Joseph's acting is a bit cringe worthy the first quarter of the movie, he has his moments. Unfortunately, the movie seems a little thin, and the writers try too hard with the dialogue at some points, it's far more dramatic than funny & the two leads don't seem to have the connection they should .
Aside from that, it's entertaining, charming at moments, and feels different (& different is good). I just wish it wasn't so friggen depressing. I like that the main character doesn't follow the stereotype of all cancer patients being super happy .
