Review of 50/50 (2011) by Jlphotography D — 22 Dec 2012
It's not your lifetime bummer filled with despair and teary eyed sentiment or the kind of laugh-a-minute rodeos that can be expected from Seth Rogen. That's not to say 50/50 doesn't breathe hints of these elements, but it tries to transcend melodrama and perverse bawdiness and show us a realer dramatization of how a late twenty something may cope with being diagnosed with cancer.
