Review of 5 Days of War (2011) by Nickolay K — 18 Aug 2011
This movie is a lie. Georgians attacked Osetia. Georgian soldiers and tanks killed Russian peacekeepers (!!!) that United Nations sent to Osetia. Georgian artillery bombed civil buildings in Tskhinval, the purpose was not to destroy military forces but to kill civilians. Georgia is an agressor. Its president is a war criminal. The movie does not show this, that is why this movie is a lie.
Russia sent troops to defend its citizens and peacekeepers (90% of Osetia people are Russian citizens). Russians didn't attack civilians in Georgian cities and villages. If we did this, there would be no Georgians at all. Do not be stupid. Russians are not "wild animals" trying to kill every live creature they see around. This movie is a lie.
The movie was not made right after the conflict, it was made several years later. Enough time to think how to hide the truth.
