Top-notch action comedy stars Nick Nolte as a no nonsense detective who springs Murphy out of jail to help him track down an escaped convict (James Remar). The whole cast of this movie is great but Murphy, in his first film, is absolutely brilliant! Why doesn't he make films like this anymore??
