Review of 48 Hrs. (1982) by Jonathan D — 29 Dec 2017
Roger Ebert's review of this film is spot on. Nothing great about the story, but this movie is a staple of 80's action films. The banter between Nolte and Murphy is great. The redneck bar scene is one of the most memorable scenes of any 80's film.
This film launched Eddie Murphy's film career and made him into one of the biggest stars of the 80's and 90's.
