This is very good classic buddy movie. Eddie Murphy is at his best and liked his early films compared to the shit he does now. Nick Nolte is the shit as the tough as nails police officer out to avenge the death of fellow officers at the hands of an escaped convict played well by James Remar.
Good characters good plot action, and comedy to.
