I thought this was a pretty decent movie. I love ancient Japanese culture, and the way of the samurai. The discipline, detail, and devotion to such honor and intricacies of the culture show through in the film.
The story was interesting, and the direction of the movie didn't linger often. The film is supposed to be based on an ancient tale, with some myth & magic. The movie is certainly above average, and you could certainly do worse like watching "Man with the Iron Fists".
